As part of the School Spring application process, you will need to submit:

Substitute Positions
  • To register as a non-certified district substitute (custodial, clerical/secretarial, teacher assistant), please fill out a "Support  Staff" application (located below) and bring it along with:

    • two (2) forms of ID (i.e., birth certificate or passport, OR driver’s license AND social security card)
    • teacher assistant certification, if applicable
to the Administration Office at 2300 Bronco Highway, Harrisville, RI  02830.

  • To register as a certified district substitute (teachers), please fill out a "Certified Staff" application (located below) and bring it along with:

    • your teaching certificate
    • two (2) forms of ID (i.e., birth certificate or passport, OR driver’s license AND social security card)
to the Administration Office at 2300 Bronco Highway, Harrisville, RI  02830. 
Once your application has been processed, your file will be forwarded to one of our administrators who will contact you to set up an appointment for an interview. 


NOTE: All employees of the Burrillville School Department must have a Criminal Background Check on file. Since procedures vary depending on residency, you will be instructed on the process specific to your circumstances when you bring your completed application to the Administration Office.
